Hunslet No 1 0-4-0ST
No 1 0-4-0ST Hunslet quarry type gas fired with two cylinders and slip eccentrics built by David Hick c1989. Loco sent to by David Hick in 1998 for new O rings and it was dismantled for an overhaul. Locomotive finally retrieved 1st November 2001 with new pistons, new safety valve, gas valve and filler and cosmetic details such as plate on tank top. Also repainted by him in dark maroon. Since modified with a new gas tank and burner.
Hunslet 0-4-0ST "Una"
“Una” 0-4-0ST. Hunslet quarry engine built for PenyOrsedd quarries built by David Hick c 1996. Gas fired with two cylinders and slip eccentric valve gear. Fitted with a replacement burner and gas tank by Harvey Watkins in 2008.
Peckett 0-6-0ST "Triassic"
“Triassic” 0-6-0ST Peckett “Jurassic type” built by David Hick in 2001/2. Gas-fired with two cylinders and slip eccentric valve gear.
“Jack” 0-4-0T Bagnall wing tank loco of 1892 built by David Hick. This was one of a pair started in 1989, one was completed that year and is also illustrated on the website. This one was eventually completed in 2004. Both have working Stephenson valve gear between the frames and a working brake. Fitted with a new gas tank and burner by Harvey Watkins in 2013.
Penrhyn Hunslet "Linda"
Built by David Hick c 1995. It has two cylinders and slip eccentric valve gear. There is an exhaust regulator on the front footplate
Peckett 0-4-0ST "Cranmore"
Built by David Hick in c 1996, the engine has two cylinders and working Stephenson valve gear between the frames.
Built by David Hick to be sold through the 16mm Association c1985. This is a basic engine with two cylinders and slip eccentric valve gear, the cost in 1985 was £280.
This Peckett "Cranmore" was built by David Hick in the 1990s for his own use and not sold to a customer. It is gas fired and has full Stephenson valve gear.
A Cranmore type Peckett produced by David Hick for the 16mm Association in c1985. Repainted in 2016 by Matt Acton
